FEI is very close to space!

We are delighted with the success of the young science and space enthusiasts who took part in the Czech Rocket Challenge!
The competition is organised by the Czech Rocket Society, an independent association for students who are interested in and passionate about space and rockets.
Two high school students, who used the laboratories and knowledge from the 3D printing clubs at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of VŠB – TUO to build their rocket, made it all the way to the finals! The team consisting of Ondřej Wojtovič and Michal Strachota from the Gymnasium Olgy Havlová participated in the High School – Advanced category for the very first time and took a beautiful 3rd place! In addition, they won 1st place in the Active roll control category. Congratulations and thank you very much for the nice representation of the faculty!
