Live Stream: Mission Zero G goes to the finals

Follow: The Zero G mission, part of the Czech Space Journey, is entering its crucial phase.

Nearly 900 young space enthusiasts from all over the Czech Republic signed up for the Zero G mission this autumn. Selected cadets under the age of 18 went through four stages of testing that simulated the actual astronaut selection process. Twenty of them will experience weightlessness on board a specially modified Airbus A310 at the end of March.

They will meet with journalists:

• Martin Kupka, Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic
• Mjr. Ales Svoboda, Czech astronaut in training
• Yemi A.D., artist and founder of Moonshot Platform
• Jan Spratek, expert at the Prague Planetarium and coordinator of the ESA Education Office for the Czech Republic
• Simon Klinga, founder of the LASAR student team and creator of the LASARsat satellite
