Come and meet Aleš Svoboda – Czech astronaut of the European Space Agency (ESA) and fighter pilot of the Czech Air Force, whose journey from the cockpit of a fighter jet to the International Space Station is a story of courage, science, and incredible perseverance.
Aleš Svoboda is:
- a Gripen fighter pilot and member of the F-35 project team,
- holder of two engineering degrees and a doctorate in aerospace and rocket technology,
- currently training intensively at the European Astronaut Centre (EAC) for a mission to the ISS,
- and above all, an inspiration that the limits of possibility exist only so that we can overcome them.
What will the lecture be about?
“From the cockpit of a fighter jet to the stars” – you will learn not only the technical details of astronaut training, but also the personal story, motivation, and experiences that shape the life of a person heading into space.
