Second UAV Competition 2025, international drone competition

On 16-18 June, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava hosted the 2nd International UAV Competition 2025. Six teams will measure their skills in drone piloting, programming, teamwork and technical innovation. The participants were welcomed by the Rector of the University, Prof. Václav Snášel, and the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Dr. Jan Platoš.

🌍 Six teams will compete in disciplines focused on drone piloting, programming, teamwork and technological innovation:

• HCMUTE – FME (HCMC University of Technology and Education)
• Skyvision TDTU (Ton Duc Thang University)
• VAA Apollo (Vietnam Aviation Academy)
• VAA Voyager (Vietnam Aviation Academy)
• Propellers (FEI, VŠB-TUO)
• Last Light (VŠB-TUO)

💡 The aim of the competition is to support the scientific research activities of students in the fields of electrical engineering, information technology, artificial intelligence and other technical fields.
