Astrosexology, Stress & Space Missions on Earth – Lucie Ráčková

We would like to share with you reports from the Brain We Are podcast, where Mgr. Bc. Lucie Ráčková talked about several interesting topics related to the universe:

1. Training space missions and the upcoming World Biggest Analog: Lucie Ráčková focused on training space missions and presented the planned World Biggest Analog project.This project will bring together more than 12 stations in a single mission that is unprecedented in its scope.
2. Astrosexology Research Institute. This topic is timely in the context of protecting the health of active astronauts, preparing for long-duration space travel, and may provide critical insights for fertility treatment in general.
3. Parastronautics. Is disability a barrier to spaceflight? How can we make spaceflight more inclusive and what would this mean for the disability community?
4. Stress in space and its measurement: Lucie mentioned the stress factors that astronauts are exposed to and described a new method for measuring stress based on thermodynamics developed by Prof. Dobrovolná’s team.
